Culinary choice
The new 400 series downdraft system seamlessly integrates with the Vario cooktops. Create your culinary scenario with gas, induction, electric grill, Teppan Yaki and downdraft -- as you wish.
Automatic function
Dynamically responds to the odor and steam without any input from the chef. It finds the quietest setting possible whether the chef is boiling, searing, grilling or frying.
Using Home Connect, the downdraft can be paired with a compatible induction cooktop to operate automatically whenever the cooktop is used.
Filter regeneration
Air filters for the silent recirculation system can be regenerated in an oven at 400 °F, giving them a service life of up to a decade. For those who prefer the air vented to the outside, we offer similar innovations and bespoke solutions.
Maximum flexibilty
There are several ventilation systems to choose from. For the silent recirculation system, regenerable filters are accessible at floor level.
When venting to the outside, our exclusive modular metal ducting and blowers can be placed beneath the unused toe-kick space or on the outside of the residence. The choice is yours.
Dishwasher-safe
All removable components are easily accessible and can be placed into the dishwasher to ensure lasting performance.

Illuminated controls
With quiet operation, the chef will immediately appreciate the illuminated controls that inform when the downdraft is in use. Flashing illumination alerts the chef when the filters require cleaning.
