In the vibrant world of interior design, few talents shine as brightly as Jonathan Savage, the founder of Savage Interior Design. His design philosophy stems from his Tennessee upbringing on a farm where excess was the norm, yet Jonathan’s approach is anything but. Instead, his clean, simplified designs are infused with texture, strategic lighting and an occasional splash of color.
Savage splits his time between Nashville and Palm Beach, Florida, a move which happened after he was selected to design a room in the Kip’s Bay Decorator Showhouse in 2020. “Palm Beach is one of the cleanest, most pristine, well-manicured areas of the U.S. Being here is nothing but inspirational.”

When designing his Palm Beach home, Savage drew inspiration from the tranquil ocean views outside his window to achieve a harmonious balance between the indoors and outdoors. Marked by simplicity with a flair — each piece is intentionally selected and positioned to enhance the space’s overall mood and utility.
The kitchen design is a testament to this ethos. A self-proclaimed foodie, the kitchen features a complete suite of Gaggenau appliances. It’s no surprise that Savage’s preference for Gaggenau aligns with his design philosophy: innovation with a touch of everyday luxury. The sleek styling, and precision of Gaggenau marries well with Savage’s aesthetic, providing a seamless blend of form and function — a match he deems made in heaven.

One of Savage’s most recent accomplishments is his debut book, The Savage Style, which chronicles his journey in the world of interior design, showcased through eight beautifully curated residences across the South and London. The book closes with a tribute to show houses he’s contributed to, underscoring his belief that design is a generous act.
For Jonathan Savage, interior design is a journey. It’s finding the balance between functionality, aesthetics and the personal touch that makes a space not just livable, but lovable, so his clients live their best, most delicious life.
