Use only original descaling tablets with the descaling program. Never place them in the hot oven cavity. Limescale deposits and the use of descaling products that have not been approved by the appliance manufacturer may cause malfunctions and damage the appliance.
Frequency of use: Depending on water hardness and frequency of use of the steaming modes. Descaling program will show in display when descaling is necessary. Using a water filter in conjunction will reduce the necessary descaling frequency.
Instructions: Refer to your appliance's manual to start descaling. Prepare by removing the fresh-water tank, adding a descaling tablet, and filling it with 1.7L cold water to the "Max" mark. Remove all accessories and close the door, but ensure the strainer filter remains in place. Start the descaling program and once finished, drain and thoroughly rinse the used-water tank. The appliance display will remind you when to descale.
