This year Gaggenau steps out of the Milan fairgrounds and into its own space at Fuorisalone. A central, cultural and communal space for Architects and Designers, this is an experience not to be missed, please save the date: 5-10 April 2022.
Throughout Milan’s Fuorisalone we will be exhibiting an intriguing, architectural installation. ‘A Statement of Form’ showcases Gaggenau’s dedication to craftsmanship, heritage and performance – while also paying homage to Italian Futurism and Modernism. In the grounds of the stunning Villa Necchi Campiglio in the centre of the city, in the midst of Fuorisalone, this installation will feed your imagination and senses.
You will be able to experience this collaboration with artists dedicated to their craft, such as marble aficionados Salvatori, ceramic specialist Kaufmann and 3 Michelin star chef Christian Jürgens. The timeless design, quality of raw materials and progressive functionality are sure to evoke emotional, as well as professional, reactions.
The main installation also hosts important talks from leading industry figures and an art installation in Villa Necchi Campiglio’s grounds, offering some light relief.
More details will follow in the coming months leading up to Fuorisalone in April 2022.
An oasis within the industrious city, Villa Necchi Campiglio hosted the great and the good of Milanese society in its heyday. An Art Deco showcase completed by acclaimed architect Piero Portaluppi in 1935, the Villa was given additional, ornate, classical internal touches over the years. Left to the Fondo Ambiente Italiano (FAI) by the original owners it is the epitome of avant-garde and traditional, a description it shares with Gaggenau.
