GAGGENAU LAUNCHES NEW FLAGSHIPS IN NORTH AMERICA AND AUSTRALIA

Gaggenau, the luxury brand for professional grade home appliances, is redefining culinary and luxury experiences with new flagships and showrooms in North America and Australia.

The brand has seen an increase in demand for its products from high-net-worth consumers in North America and Australia. This has led to the development of a brand-new flagship concept starting with showroom openings in Vancouver and Toronto, and flagships in Sydney and Miami.

Gaggenau's flagships in Sydney and Miami, are architectural marvels that seamlessly fuse the brand's rich heritage with local cultural and design elements. These spaces serve as experiential hubs for culinary enthusiasts, architects, interior designers, and homeowners looking to explore the art of the kitchen. The flagships each boast a unique space and character, taking inspiration from the local neighbourhood; offering elevated, sophisticated moments of reflection for the design-conscious individual and professional.

In North America, there's a growing emphasis on a modern aesthetic, prioritising the kitchen as the central lifestyle hub of the home. Gaggenau's "modern classic" design aligns seamlessly with this movement, offering timeless, sophisticated and elegant solutions for luxury kitchens.

The Miami flagship pays homage to the city's rich design and art deco heritage and Gaggenau aims to nurture and collaborate with innovative, emerging artists by providing them with a platform to showcase their work. As you step into the space, you'll find an invitation to engage in curated art experiences that allow visitors to connect with the brand in a new way.

Heather Ryan, Head of Gaggenau North America, shed light on Miami’s location, “The flagship seamlessly blends modern loft design with South Florida's Art Deco heritage, embodying Gaggenau's timeless elegance. The showroom makes you feel that you are entering a friend's well-appointed home, discreetly showcasing our appliances within a residential setting, avoiding the typical commercial store ambience. It's a sanctuary within the Miami Design District, offering a serene, intimate brand experience.”

In Australia, Knight Frank’s 'The Wealth Report 2023' indicates that the country has seen a rise of high-net-worth-individuals (HNWI) over the last two years, growing by 20% in 2023. Sydney's strong economy, its status as a global business hub, and its architectural excellence create a promising landscape for Gaggenau. Situated in Surry Hills, an inner-city area known for its vibrant culture and culinary scene, the new flagship includes an experiential space for gastronomy enthusiasts. Visitors are encouraged to sample locally sourced coffee and fine Australian wines in the dedicated lounge bar, whilst experiencing first-hand what it feels like to interact with Gaggenau products in a range of high spec scenarios.

Andrew Jones, BSH Managing Director for Australia, underscored this shift: "Our clients no longer simply seek kitchen appliances; they aspire to lifestyle solutions that elevate their daily experiences. Our new flagship in Sydney is meticulously designed to cater to this demand by offering immersive and interactive encounters."

Dr Peter Goetz, Managing Director of Gaggenau, says “Each of our new flagships around the world is a unique, elevating experience designed to inspire. Our appliances, brand, philosophy and heritage are interwoven into the architecture, creating a local, enticing, landmark.”

The new Vancouver and Toronto showrooms also showcase minimalistic kitchen scenarios that are harmonised to allow visitors to experience the products.
